NPORS. Pallet Truck/Stacker

Who is this course for?

The course is suitable for novice operators, experienced operators requiring additional training, and experienced workers undertaking assessment only to gain certification.

What you will learn?

• The safe and correct operation of a pallet or stacker truck
• Pre-use checks and equipment inspection
• Understanding truck controls and functions
• Safe operating procedures
• Correct load-handling techniques
• Safe lifting, transporting and positioning of loads
• Maintaining safe control of the truck and load
• Recognising hazards associated with pallet and stacker truck operations
• Following appropriate workplace safety requirements
• Demonstrating safe and competent practical operation

Teaching and Assessment

Novice operators receive 2–3 days of training, while experienced operators receive two days of training. Experienced workers can undertake a ½-day assessment-only route with no formal training. Training and assessment cover the knowledge and practical skills required for safe pallet and stacker truck operation.

What you get once complete.

On successful completion, delegates will receive the NPORS N008 Pallet Truck/Stacker qualification.
