NPORS. Micro Excavator 360° up to 1 Tonne

What you will learn?

  • The safe and correct operation of a micro 360° excavator up to 1 tonne
  • Pre-use checks and equipment inspection
  • Understanding machine controls and functions
  • Safe excavation and operating procedures
  • Appropriate excavation techniques
  • Recognising hazards associated with excavation operations
  • Maintaining a safe working environment
  • Maintaining safe control of the machine during operation
  • Following appropriate workplace safety procedures
  • Demonstrating safe and competent practical operation

Teaching and Assessment

Novice operators receive 10 days of training, while experienced operators receive 2–5 days of training. Experienced workers can undertake a ½-day assessment-only route with no formal training. Refresher training is available as a one-day course.

What you get once complete.

On successful completion, delegates will receive the NPORS N016 Micro Excavator 360° up to 1 Tonne qualification.
