NPORS Telescopic Handler (N010)

Course Aims

To deliver comprehensive practical and theoretical training for Telescopic Handler, ensuring candidates can perform their duties competently and safely, and successfully pass the NPORS Theory and Practical Tests.

This course is available for anyone with limited or no experience on a Telescopic Handler, experienced workers will be able to sit a one day Experience Workers Assessment (Test Only)

• Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998

• Introduction to machine
• Pre-start inspections
• Controls and instruments
• Components and main types of lift trucks
• Re-fueling systems
• Coolant, fuel and lubrication
• Emergency controls
• Maneuvering over uneven ground
• Operators safety code
• Handling loaded / unloaded pallets and difficult shaped loads
• Loading and unloading flatbed lorries at various heights

Duration of the course depends on experience level of candidates attending

Qualifications you gain

Traditional NPORS Card or CSCS Logo Card.
